Hannah Stickler was born circa 1819 in Pucklechurch, Bristol (Pucklechurch+ Bristol+ England) to James Stickler (c1793-1855) and Sarah Angell (1797-1863) and died circa 1892 of unspecified causes. She married John Joyner (c1820-?) 1840 in Gloucestershire.

Hannah born 1819 was the third child of James Stickler and Sarah Angell. In 1840 she married John Joyner, a labourer and son of John Joyner of Hallen, Gloucestershire. Hannah and John had six children. Their third child Sophia, born 9 November 1846 never married and lived in Pucklechurch at the home of Hannah's younger brother, Enoch, where her occupation was that of a housekeeper.

In 1881, Hannah and her husband were living in Hallen, Gloucestershire, with their extended family of children grandchildren.
