  • Harriet died at Sams Flat when she was run over by the sulky she was travelling in. The horse bolted and she fell under the wheel.

  • Mrs. M. Lahey, of Tia, was driving in a sulky with her daughter, when the sulky collided with a stump. Mrs. Lahey was thrown to the ground with great force and injured her spine. Serious symptoms followed, and word was brought in on Tuesday that Mrs. Lahey had died.
