Heinrich II. von Brandenburg, Markgraf von Brandenburg, was born circa 1308 to Heinrich I. von Brandenburg (1260-1318) and Agnes von Wittelsbach (c1272-1345) and died July 1320 in Mieszkowice, Poland of unspecified causes. Notable ancestors include Charlemagne (747-814), Hugh Capet (c940-996), Rurik (c832-879), Alfred the Great (849-899), Henry II of England (1133-1189), William I of England (1027-1087). He was the last Margrave of Brandenburg from the House of Ascania.
