Help:Starting pages for people, places, or surnames
From Familypedia
Pages for individuals, for surnames/families, and for places have different formats. If you want to create a person page, use the Create new article menu item on the left hand sidebar. This will display our Form for persons that will automatically create an article from the details you provide. After laying out the basic article, you may refine it by using the menu item "edit this page" to add pictures and narrative using an easy to use visual editor. To change details in the tables, use the "edit with form" menu item to correct or add details that you may have omitted when you or someone else began the article. There is no harm in trying it out. If make an error what you named the article, you can use the "move" button from the top menu to rename it. Feel free to ask for help. You can click on the user names in the "latest activity" and ask someone currently online for assistance by leaving a message on their talk (discussion) page. Or you may leave an inquiry at our Help desk.
