Ivy Daisy Violet Hazel (1894-1962) the second eldest of eight children (all born in Bedminster, Bristol) and her husband, Henry Russ (1889-1955), were known to the family as Uncle Harry and Auntie Daisy. Henry ran a Green Grocers shop in Downend, Bristol used to get up at 4am every morning to buy fruit and vegetables for his store.
