Obituary

MR. J. F. ELDRIDGE.

A sudden illness on Saturday last led to the death of Mr. James Francis Eldridge at St John of God Hospital, early this morning.

Aged 68, he was born at Binda and had lived in Goulburn for the past 34 years. An identity familiar in Auburn Street, he was engaged as a blacksmith with J. Guymer, and later followed the same calling in his own business, until a serious illness rendered him an invalid.

He is survived by his widow, five sons Cyril ("Joe"), Garnor, Claud ("Christy"), and Lloyd, A.I.F.; two daughters, Lavinia (Mrs. A. Fife, Gundary), and Muriel (Mrs. R. Sanders, Oatley), and 28 grand children.

Two sons, Jack and Glen, predeceased him.

The funeral will leave St. Peter and Paul's Cathedral to-morrow afternoon, at 4.30, for the Catholic Cemetery, Kenmore.
