James Whittle (1757 - 18 December 1818) was a map, chart and printseller based in London, and a partner of the company Laurie and Whittle.


In 1794, the company Laurie and Whittle was founded by James Whittle and Robert Laurie (1855 - 1836). The company specialised in maps, printselling, charts (Whittle) and engravings (Laurie).
