Jane Harmon was born circa 1660 and died after 1716 of unspecified causes. She married Samuel Doty (c1643-1715) 13 November 1678 in Piscataway, New Jersey, United States.

Two possibilities have have been suggested for Jane Harmon's parentage. Mayflower Families Through Five Generations says that she may have been the daughter of James and Sarah (Clark) Harmon, born c1661 in Saco, Maine. The Descendants of Edward Doty says that Jane was probably the daughter of John Harmon of Plymouth, Massachusetts, who had married a daughter of Henry Sampson.
