She married Oscar Arthur Lindauer (1873-1948) a real estate manager in June of 1903 in Newark, Essex County, New Jersey.

- Florence Elizabeth Lindauer (1907-1967) who worked as a keypunch operator in a fire insurance company in 1930, and married Charles James Cull II (1903-1976)
- Natalie Jean Lindauer (1910-1996) who married a Alfred Richardson (1910-1953) and lived in Cincinnati, Ohio and died in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin
- Charles Frederick Lindauer II (1919-2006) who married Gloria X (1925- ) and later moved to Florida.

She died on her birthday at Daniel Drake Memorial Hospital in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. She died under the name "Jean Lindauer".

Jean - nee Courter. Beloved wife of the late Oscar A. Lindauer; beloved mother of Mrs. Florence Cull of Nutley, New Jersey; Mrs. Natalie J. Richardson, Cincinnati, Ohio; Charles F. Lindauer, Phoenix, Arizona; also survived by eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; Tuesday April 16 in her 85th year; residence 1722 North Benerd. Private services and interment Friday afternoon in Nutley, New Jersey.
