Obituary

DEATH OF MR. J. B. PEACOCK

The death occurred at a private hospital in Sydney of Mr. John Blackman Peacock, aged 85 years. The late Mr. Peacock was a well known and highly respected resident of the Coonamble and Gulargambone districts for many years. Before retiring to Sydney he had lived on his property, "Merri Merri", Gulargambone, for over 50 years. At one time he was connected with the Wingadee Shire and was chairman of the Coonamble P.P. Board for many years. Deceased was predeceased by his wife many years ago, and is survived by the folloving family: Mrs. F. Donohoe, Mrs. Hildash, Mrs. H. B. Bloodsworth, Miss Vera Peacock, James, Walter and John. He is also survived by two brothers, Gawin and Garnet, of Sydney.
