The marriage of John Edward, eldest son of the late John Paterson, of 'Illalong,' Binalong, and Susan Agnes, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Jauncey, of 'Oakland's,' Bega, was celebrated at St. John's Church of England, Bega, on Wednesday evening, the 20th instant. The Rev. B. Dore Bryant performed the ceremony.
Mr. John Edward Paterson, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Paterson, of Illalong, Yass, died at a private hospital yesterday. He was educated at Sydney Grammar School and he was an engineer in the New South Wales Government Railways. Mr. Paterson was secretary of the New South Wales Rod Fishers' Society for 20 years. He is survived by Mrs. Paterson and one daughter. Mr Paterson was a cousin of the late Andrew Barton ("Banjo") Paterson.
