John Howard, 1st Duke of Norfolk, Earl Marshal, was born circa 1420 to Robert Howard (1384-1436) and Margaret de Mowbray (1388-1459) and died 22 August 1485 at the Battle of Bosworth Field of unspecified causes. He married Catherine Moleyns (1424-1465) before 29 September 1442 JL . He married Margaret Chedworth (1436-1494) before 22 January 1467 JL .
