John Nicholas Watts was born 1886 in Walcha, New South Wales, Australia to Samuel Rapson Watts (1859-1924) and Mary Jane Farrell (1862-1944) and died 19 February 1939 in Moree, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Alice Hogno (1884-1969) 1907 in Walcha, New South Wales, Australia. Ancestors are from Australia, Ireland, the United Kingdom.

Obituary

MR. J. N. WATTS.

Mr. John Nicholas Watts passed away at his home, Dover Street, East Moree, last night. The deceased, who was 53 years of age was born in Walcha. He spend practically the whole of his life there, and for many years conducted the Royal Hotel at the centre. Coming to Moree about 12 months ago, he followed the occupalion of a builder and contractor, and he and his wife also conducted the boardinghouse in Anne Street which was recently destroyed by fire.

In addition to his wife, he leaves two sons, and three daughters to mourn their loss, the former being Messrs. Albert Watts (Guyra). and Alvin Watts (Tenterfield), and the Misses Rita and Allie Watts (Sydney). and one who resides in Melbourne.

He is also survived by three brothers.

The funeral will take place to-morrow morning, the mortuary aggangements being carried out by Messrs. Loggan and Co. Ptd. Ltd.
