Picture caption, 1941: Leumeah House, near Campbelltown, was once the home of John Warby, Government Stockman. The cottage was built in 1816 and still stands solidly as a monument to early colonial craftsmanship. Warby earned distinction as an explorer, but his fame has been eclipsed by others whose names are more familiar.
