Justin Giles Geer (born February 14, 1981) is an American film actor and musician, born in Forest City, North Carolina. He is the son of Cecil Linden Geer and Myra Ann Mathis of Rutherford County, North Carolina.

Biography Edit

Early lifeEdit

Geer was born and grew up in "small town-friendly" Forest City, North Carolina. As a young boy, he began playing the piano, performing since the age of 5. At East Rutherford High School, his attentions turned to theatre and filming, which helped his decision to attend the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to study theatre. Geer began acting in plays including: Robin Hood (by Don Nigro), The Servant of Two Masters (by Tom Stoppard), and was in The Other Side improv comedy troupe. He also performed voice overs in several films including Remember My Love, Lum The Forever, and The Final Chapter.

Acting careerEdit

Justin moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he was selected as the lead in the 2005 horror film Motor Home Massacre. Justin began working with the Lillie B. Ross Society on a 30-minute television comedy entitled Driftwood, which uses interpolated rotoscoping, as used in A Scanner Darkly. In 2006, he appeared in Song for Robbie Miller, which won Best Short at the 2006 Southern Fried Flicks film festival. His most current projects include the CW's "The Vampire Diaries" and the Hallmark movie "The Lost Valentine" to be released in 2011 February.

Music careerEdit

In 2010, Justin released a diverse CD I Made This Album with my Computer displaying his music prowess. The cd compiles nine songs including the hits Kuntree Klubbin', I Made This Song with My Computer, and Scientology.

Justin, who plays the piano and sings, began scoring films when he moved to Atlanta, Georgia.
