JOHN, a Presbyterian minister, fought at the Boyne and settled in Co. Down. He lived to the age of 84 and by his wife Isabella dau. of the Rev. Joseph Alliene (sic) (she lived to 82) he had:

a. JAMES m. his cousin Margaret McMahon and emigrated to America in 1738, settling in Augusta County, Virginia, where he d. between 1761 and 1768. He had three children whose lines WKR gives.
b. JOHN remained in Ireland and had four children of whom one went to America:

4. ELIZABETH (1758-1830) m. William Beatty of Co. Down
c. SAMUEL
d. ALLEN
e. THOMAS
f. KATHERINE, b. c1685 in Scotland m. John Walker of Wigtown in 1702. They moved to Ireland c1704 and emigrated to Chester County, Pennsylvania where she d. 1738 leaving numerous children
g. ESTHER
h. ELIZABETH, b. 1715, at Wigtown, m. Hugh Hudson and went with him to America where she d. 1777, leaving several children.
