Karl XV Ludvig Eugen Bernadotte of Sweden, King of Sweden, King of Norway, Duke of Skåne, was born 3 May 1826 in Stockholm, Sweden to Oscar I of Sweden (1799-1859) and Joséphine de Beauharnais (1807-1876) and died 18 September 1872 in Malmö, Sweden of unspecified causes. He married Louise van Oranje-Nassau (1828-1871) 19 June 1850 in Stockholm, Sweden.
