Katherine Dankers was born 12 May 1846 in Deinste, Stade, Lower Saxony, Germany to Peter Dankers and Anna Hackman and died 14 February 1914 in Lake City, Minnesota, United States of cirrhosis of the liver. She married Martin Heinrich Ehlers (1847-1916) circa 1871 in Germany.

  • FamilySearch has a genealogy with parents and grandparents, but the father as Peter Dankers Haeusling and the mothers last name as Lemmerman.

Siblings

1880 Census shows a Dietrich Dankers living next door with same immigration and nationality dates. He is likely her brother. 1880 Census shows a John Dankers living in Goodhue County with his in-laws. Possible brother.
