Keya Paha County is a county located in the U.S. state of Nebraska. It was named for the Keya Paha River that runs through it, which in turn was named from two Lakota words, keya (turtle) and paha (hill or butte). Its county seat is Springview6.
In the Nebraska license plate system, Keya Paha County is represented by the prefix 82 (it had the eighty-second-largest number of vehicles registered in the county when the license plate system was established in 1922).
