La Tour d'Auvergne is the name of a French noble family, originally from the village of LaTour in Auvergne, dating from the 10th century.

It divided into several branches, including Counts of Auvergne, Dukes of Bouillon and d'Albret, and Viscounts of Turenne. Madeleine de La Tour d'Auvergne (?-1519) married Lorenzo de' Medici, Duke of Urbino; mother of Queen Catherine de Medicis who married Henri de Valois, Duke d'Orleans, later would be Henri II de Valois, King of France.
