Leszek the White Piast of Poland, Duke of Sandomierz, Duke of Kraków, High Duke of Poland, was born circa 1186 to Casimir II the Just of Poland (1138-1194) and Helena of Znojmo (1145-c1204) and died 1227 of assassination. He married Gremyslava of Lutsk (c1190-1258) 1207 JL . Notable ancestors include Rurik (c832-879), Charlemagne (747-814), Alfred the Great (849-899).
