Margaret Weddell Turnbull (1838-1873) was born 22 August 1838 in Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland to James Turnbull (1798-1858) and Margaret Weddell (1803-1878) and died 24 April 1873 in Surrey, England of unspecified causes. She married Thomas Martin (1838-) 22 July 1866 in Croydon, Surrey. Ancestors are from the United Kingdom, Scotland.

Born in Edinburgh the third daughter of the Rev. James Turnbull, minister in the Relief Church and his spouse Margaret Weddell. The family moved to Sydenham near London around 1845 and then to East Grinstead. She married Thomas Martin about whom nothing is known. She was living with her mother and brother in Horley in 1871 although she was listed as married. She is buried next to the family plot at All Saints Church, Crawley Down, Sussex, England
