Margarete von Baden was born 25 January 1404 to Bernhard I. von Baden-Baden (1364-1431) and Anna von Oettingen (c1380-1436) and died 7 November 1442 of unspecified causes. She married Adolf II. von Nassau-Wiesbaden-Idstein (1386-1426) March 1418 JL .
