Maria Amalia von Nassau-Dillenburg was born 27 July 1582 in Dillenburg, Germany to Johann VI. von Nassau-Dillenburg (1535-1606) and Kunigunde Jakobäa von Pfalz (1556-1586) and died 31 October 1635 in Greifenstein, Germany of unspecified causes. She married Wilhelm I. zu Solms-Braunfels (1570-1635) 23 August 1600 in Dillenburg, Germany.
