Biography

Marie von Mecklenburg-Schwerin was born 14 May 1854 in Ludwigslust to Friedrich Franz II. zu Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1823-1883) and Auguste Reuß zu Schleiz-Köstritz (1822-1862) and died 6 September 1920 in Contrexéville of unspecified causes. She married Vladimir of Russia (1847-1909) 28 August 1874 in Saint Petersburg.
