It seems her first child was by an unknown person. His name may have been Morgan, based on his child's last name, but the child is just as likely to have been adopted by his step-father. Her first known husband died in the Battle of Atlanta on July 22, 1864. From the 1870 census, it appears she had three children by him. She had 6 children by James C. Cannady before his untimely death (while she was pregnant with their last child). Her final marriage is described as a "marriage of convenience", so I would not expect any children. This husband, James Johns, was a much younger man.
