History[]

is first mentioned in 1373. The locality was also the site of a fortress owned by the Litvin family. In the following years the descendents of the family, who also owned the neighboring village of Mitrovice changed the family name to Mitrovsky of Mitrovic and Nemyšl. After the death of Bohuslav Mitrovsky of Mitrovic and Nemyšl (c1470-1531) in 1531, his descendents had a dispute on how to divide their inheritance. In 1545 the estate was sold and ended in 1564as property of Elisabeth von Lobkowicz, who married Jiří von Talberk, whose descendents owned it until 1662, when after the end of the 30 year war, the property was taken over by Nikolaus Franchimont von Frankenfeld, whose descendants kept the property until 1719, when it was taken over by the counts Caretto Millesimo until 1765, being finally owned by the Deym von Střítež family.
