Orville Wright was born 19 August 1871 in Dayton, Ohio, United States to Milton Wright (1828-1917) and Susan Catherine Koerner (1831-1889) and died 30 January 1948 in Dayton, Ohio, United States of heart attack. Ancestors are from the United States.

Orville Wright is one of the Wright brothers, who are two Americans who are generally credited with building the world's first successful airplane and making the first controlled, powered and sustained heavier-than-air human flight on December 17, 1903.
