Paulus Tol was born 16 January 1909 in Hoorn, North Holland, Netherlands to Klaas Tol (1857-1919) and Marijtje Bergen (1869-1920) and died 12 December 1976 Geelong, Victoria, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Dora Peereboom (1914-) 1 August 1934 in Enkhuizen, North Holland, Netherlands.
Paulus was the second Tol to emigrate (after Wouter), and the only one to establish a family line abroad.
