This page provides a "fast link" for very easy creation of a page about an individual (not articles primarily about places or families).
If you plan on having pages for parents and/or children of your chosen individual and will want links between them, you will probably save time almost immediately by spending an extra couple of minutes initially creating an info page, or you can jump in at our cutting edge by making a "facts" page; each of those types of page can display more on relatives' and other pages automatically. See Genealogy:Info pages (or create your own articles using Form:Person, but be aware that the form-based system is not quite into "Beta" stage yet).
In the box below, please type the person's name — before the brackets and with a space after it — and (between the brackets) birth and death year(s). No "slash" (/) is permitted. Then click the "Create" button.
- Please use the form "First-name Middle-if-known Last-name (YOB-YOD)", with a space after the name but no spaces between dates; use "c", "bef", "aft", or "?" to condition the dates, also without spaces.
- For example:Jose Joaquin Bernal (?-?),John Walker (?-1740), Henry Manwaring (1827-1902), or Jakab Cseszneky (c1220-bef1296).
Then fill in the basic details as indicated on the pre-formatted lines, and add whatever biographical detail you wish elsewhere on the page. Then use the "Preview" and "Save page" buttons.

- Any article created with the above inputbox or one of our other suggested templates can be modified to meet specific needs. If you find yourself having to modify many articles to meet your requirements, consider creating a template of your own. (Check Forum:Help desk for help with this if you wish).
