During the pioneer period many records utilized proximity to various rivers and streams to locate events. Knowing where these rivers and streams lie is helpful in understand the local history, and family relations.
The following map is based on a map in Summers, 1929. Modifications have been made to simplify the display, and highlight the river system. Place names remain as shown in the original map. Many of these labels are difficult to read. A temporary fix for this is to view the map at its maximum size. Click on the map, and you will be given the opprtunity to view it at greater resolution. At some point the labels will be upgraded so that they are more easily viewed.
