NotesEdit

There seems to be come confusion about the last name. On various websites I have seen it listed as Mayhan, Mahon and McMahon. In the 1850 census the recorder wrote down McMahen. Most of the descendants I have found in public record are listed as Mahon. It appears his tombstone also say Mahon.
