Rudolf II. von Zähringen, Count of Rheinfelden, was born 1082 to Berthold II. von Zähringen (c1050-1111) and Agnes von Rheinfelden (c1065-1111) and died 1111 of unspecified causes. Notable ancestors include Charlemagne (747-814). Ancestors are from France, Belgium, Germany, Italy.
Little is known about Rudolf. He succeeded his mother as Count of Rheinfelden but died in the same year as she did. He was old enough to have children, but he did not establish a successful dynasty in Rheinfelden.[1]
