Samuel Tivey was born 1838 in Melbourne, Derbyshire, England, United Kingdom to Samuel Tivey (1814-1876) and Phoebe Wild (1810-1878) and died 17 July 1895 at Kydra, Collingwood-street in Drummoyne, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Margaret Proctor (1861-1924) 6 July 1881 in Balmain, New South Wales, Australia. Ancestors are from the United Kingdom.
