Sancho II the Pious, the Caped Capet-Burgundy of Portugal, King of Portugal, was born 8 September 1209 in Coimbra to Afonso II of Portugal (1185-1223) and Urraca of Castile (1186-1220) and died 4 January 1248 in Toledo of unspecified causes. He married Mécia Lopes de Haro (?-1270) 1246 JL .
