Sarah Ann Quince was born 17 October 1852 in Swineshead, Lincolnshire, England, United Kingdom to Edward Quince (c1817-1888) and Mary Coddington (c1819-1900) and died 24 June 1918 Crookwell, New South Wales, Australia of myocarditis. She married Elisha Marks (1846-1939) 1870 in Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia.


She left Plymouth on 13 November 1852 on the Bussorah Merchant for New South Wales, as a bounty immigrant with her parents and siblings.
