Sarah Park was born in 1724 to Jonathan Park and Abigail Smith. She married Asaph Putnam on September 7, 1743. In about 1750, Asaph and Sarah moved to southern Vermont and settled in Dumerston, Windham County. The family left Vermont in about 1760 and lived in Queensbury, New York until after the American Revolution. They lived in a log house which faced South street, on the estate of the late Roger Haviland, near the big dam. Sarah died about 1770.
