Documentation notesEdit

1870 CensusEdit

  • Location: Haralson > Georgia Militia District 1077
  • Simeon Dean age is 35.
  • "Maloney Dean" born SC age 70 is present. (where was she in 1860)? Probably Elizabeth M dean, of 1860 census with absolom. This Maloney is likely the M of her 1850 reported name.
    • Maloney is a common last name (Irish). Maybe Elizabeth's Maiden name?
    • Or maybe there has been a bastardization of Charity abney's middle name reported in Famsearch as Melvina. One relative refers to a "Charity Malonia Abney".[[1]]

  • Unless indicated otherwise, data is from federal censuses and may be verified online by running searches on the given names and dates.
