Sophia Friederike, Herzogin zu Mecklenburg was born 24 August 1758 to Ludwig von Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1725-1778) and Charlotte von Sachsen-Coburg-Saalfeld (1731-1810) and died 29 November 1794 of unspecified causes. She married Frederik of Denmark (1753-1805) 21 October 1774 .
