         Farmer's wife who was known to her grandchildren as Mimi. She was very active in Wades Baptist Church, especially with women and youth activities. She was also very active in the Screven County Homemakers' Club. She was well-known for her cooking and food preservation and was an accomplished seamstress.

         I am told that she injured herself in an accident caused in part by depression. She died of heart failure only a few months later while still trying to recover.
