- Well, yes, I saw those. Census records do not guarantee spellings. Like that "Louiser" who might be "Louisa". Anyway, at the top of the page I was meaning "the only likely one ... apart from our primary source craigsharrow"

- Yes, I assume that "Louiser" is "Louisa". Which prompts the question: how do we determine the "correct" spelling of the name of someone who is illiterate?
