- Description
- This template adds categories to tracking category:Category redirects while indicating to viewers that the category should not be used and pointing to the desired alternative.
- Syntax
- To redirect from Category:1921 deaths to Category:Died in 1921 if the latter already exists, simply add the following to Category:1921 deaths:
{{category redirect|Died in 1921}}
- If the target category does not yet exist, you must state its FULLPAGENAME, e.g.
{{category redirect|Category:Died in 1921}}
- Other points
- Please do not use "subst:" on the template.
- This template should be used only on category pages.
