Greenock Advertiser of 24 June 1856 reported the more likely place name "Erins" and added that the celebrant was "the Rev. Benjamin Mathie, Incumbent of St. Paul's Church, Hendon, Bishopwearnmouth" - http://search.findmypast.co.uk/bna/viewarticle?id=bl%2f0000970%2f18560624%2f023. Mathie was quite possibly a relative, perhaps the husband or son of Elizabeth Forlong (1784-).
Death possibly in Canada, where some of his descendants were born.
