Thomas Budd was born 1788 in Killea, Cashel, Tipperary, Ireland and died 12 September 1833 at "Talivera Grove" in Wollombi, New South Wales, Australia of Allegedly drowned in a well. He married Hozapha Besquante Wood (c1797-1868) circa 1814 in San Sebastian, Spain.

He arrived in New South Wales on 5 Oct 1816 on the Elizabeth.
