Thomas Lisle was born circa 1822 in Bristol, England, United Kingdom and died 17 May 1859 in Walcha, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Ellen Levingston (1833-1911) 17 April 1850 in Europambela, New South Wales, Australia.

Convicted of 'housebreaking' and sentenced to seven years' transportation. He was transported to New South Wales in 1837. (aged 20)

He ran the 'Victory Inn' from 1856 till his sudden death in 1859.
