|Baptism:||17 Apr. 1719 Sudbury, Suffolk|
|Father:||Joseph Martin (?-?) of Sudbury, Suffolk|
|Marriage:||int. 23 July 1745 All Saints, Sudbury, Suffolk|
The marriage record for Thomas lists his wife's name as Elizabeth Goodwin, however, the marriage intention states her name was Sarah. The vicar often left names blank in the parish records, probably because he couldn't remember them, therefore a 'name change' like this does not surprise me.
Thomas and Elizabeth had all of their children baptized at the Congregational Church of Friar Street Chapel. However, neither his parents, nor his children followed in his religious beliefs, although his brother Joseph was also a member and had his children baptized there.
