Thomas Shapton Mitchell was born 21 July 1860 in Windsor, New South Wales, Australia to Thomas Mitchell (1824-1881) and Ursula B Shapton (1827-1919) and died 24 June 1935 in Burwood, New South Wales, Australia of unspecified causes. He married Augusta Emily Hanigan (1865-1922) 1887 in Newtown, New South Wales, Australia. Ancestors are from the United Kingdom.
