[edit] Mistaken edit to the Info_pages/person_article_template

Thanks for fixing my /info page recently. I'm very new and struggling with the learning curve.

I mistakenly did something to the Info_pages/person_article_template thinking it was an info page for one of my pages. I can see how this is a significant problem b/c this is a high-traffic template.

I left a note on Robin Patterson's page about it, but please help me correct the problem if you can. I tried to undo one of the changes and then stopped before I made matters worse. They are minor edits to the template, but I am having issues trying to undo them.

I noticed you were renaming a series of info pages tonight.

Just so you know, I am reshuffling stuff on info pages and will be generating two new subpages for each page with an info page.

To make saving main pages using facts or info templates, I am creating a subpage where all the slow templates will calculate their results. The most notorious is {{SMW templates}}. I described this in a recent forum note, but now it is ready and phloxbot has been creating the subpages since yesterday.

When the pages are created then the SMW template will be removed from the main pages. This should result in a marked improvement in perceived performance on the site. ~ Phlox 04:48, October 23, 2009 (UTC)

This won't be fixed right away. It looks like SMW has a problem with parameters that use templates. I tried to hide them from SMW, but these fast hacks didn't work. ~ Phlox 00:04, November 25, 2009 (UTC)
