Victor-Amédée I de Savoie was born 8 May 1587 in Turin, Italy to Charles-Emmanuel I de Savoie (1562-1630) and Catherine Michelle of Spain (1567-1597) and died 7 October 1637 in Turin, Italy of unspecified causes. He married Marie Christine de Bourbon (1606-1663) 10 February 1619 in Paris, France.
