Son of Svyatoslav Vseslavich of Vitebsk (c1065-c1130) and brother of Euphrosyne of Polotsk . According to A. Rapov, he held Usvyaty part of Principality of Vitebsk, and in 1162 took the throne of the Principality of Vitebsk [1] . He mentioned along with the nameless wife in "The Life of Euphrosyne" near 1167, when he ran for his sister in a pilgrimage to the holy places. Euphrosyne convinced her two nieces, Vyacheslav's daughters, Kiryana (in inatstve Agatha) and Olga (in inatstve Euphemia) to become nuns. Last time mentioned in 1167, when together with the Prince Glebovich helped send Novgorod to Kiev news of the attack on them Smolentsk, Suzdal and Polotsk [2].
